The Mount Isa Fish Stocking Group (MIFSG) host the Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic every year on the last weekend in October. This is a three day event starting on the Friday afternoon and concluding on Sunday. There are plenty of prizes on offer for all ages and abilities as well as a lucky nomination prize.
