Camping will be supervised and event organisers will allocate camping sites. The specified areas are Black Rock Park and the Kingfisher Point Area. In all other areas of the R48 Reserve camping is not permitted. Campers will comply with Camp Rules.

The 2010 Xstrata Mount Isa Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic will be held at Black Rock & Transport Bay, Lake Moondarra, located 15 kilometres North of Mount Isa.
